*Bump Day* 41 Weeks

41 Weeks and overcooked. This is the first ever 'naked skin' belly shot I have taken, I thought to myself, what the hell and just did it. I feel absolutely humongous, but in comparing the size of my overall belly to when I was pregnant with Charlie, I am tiny!

**Bump Day** 33 weeks

Ok, so I am few days late. Not having a good week. Had an emergency trip to the dentist yesterday which resulted in a pulled tooth :(. In quite a bit of pain at the moment, hopefully it should clear up in the next few days. Couldn't even be bothered with a bowl of soup for dinner tonight, just sticking to the luke warm cups of tea drunk through a straw... they done as much as possible due to me being pregnant but the dentist wants to wait to finish up after babe has arrived and I am not looking forward to it.

7 or so weeks to go... not long at all. 6 weeks till the little mans birthday and a few more engagement's in the mean time. Time is going to fly.

**Bump Day** 32 Weeks

So I feel as though we are on the final countdown now, 8 or so weeks to go until I am no longer a mother of one...

Did the last bit of shopping today, just another pack of terry towelling nappies just incase I find myself running short one day, a few nappy covers and Charlie insisted on being able to buy this red track suit set and a blue growth suit... he is so sweet and is always wanting to buy things for our baby.

Feeling tight, out of breath and out of energy. Sleep has not improved, which is the one thing that is really getting me down at the minute, I just don't have the energy to do anything. Our 30 minutes in town today has wiped me out!

Hopefully I'll be back on board to this blog properly soon.

**Bump Day** - Week 31... only 9 or so weeks to go

So its been a while since I have uploaded a 'bump day' picture, but as my previous post mentions I haven't been feeling to well.

Bump is growing along quite fast now, only 9 or so weeks to go and it feels like an eternity. My tummy skin is sore from being so tight, and when babe kicks it feels like someone is pressing a finger into a bruise. I am totally uncomfortable, getting no sleep but still try to remind myself everyday how wonderful it is to be pregnant, not long to go now!!

**Bump Day** 28 Weeks

A cold, heart burn, what seems like insomnia and a sore back have been my week. Hurt my back a few weeks ago moving a few things, and just thought that it was a little bit of soreness that would go away with a little rest, now I'm struggling to get up of a morning, or stand up after I have been sitting down for a while. Have a midwife appointment tomorrow and then hopefully a trip to the physio after that. So its been couch rest for me for the past week which is making me crazy not being able to do much. On the plus side I have been able to knit around 100 beanies (ok, slight exaggreation) but I have knitted a whole bundle and since every one I know seems to be having babies at the minute, i now have my welcoming gifts organised.

If I try not to think about the back ache, I really am feeling quite good. I'm getting excited, everything is organised already, the only things left to do is to wash the babe's things, sew 10 more nappies I have sitting cut out already and find some wonderful fabric for a sling. I'm thinking that I might tye die some plain fabric to make it if I can find the energy.

As for the 'Babe Guess', there are now 14 guesses...

**Bump Day** 27 Weeks

So today marks 27 weeks down, 13 to go! All I can say is wow, it sure is going by quickly. If the old wives tale is true about heartburn (seemed so with Charlie) this babe is going to have a head full of hair as well. Heartburn, all day, all night, every day, every night... the odd glass of milk is somewhat helping it as is the mountain of pillows I have stated to sleep on to keep me semi-upright. Babe is moving a lot latley, and I can tell that he/she is getting bigger due to the size of the movements. So far in the guess the babe competition I have had 11 guesses, here they are below... so if you want to have a guess, comment away :). (There may be a little prize for the closest guess).

**Bump Day** 26 Weeks

Oh, my belly is so tight its painful when babe is having a dance party inside, its amazing how different pregnancy's can be from one babe to the next. With little Charlie, I was a glow for the whole time, so comfortable in my pregnacy skin. This time I am feeling very uncomfortable, out of breath and the tiredness... I suppose I didn't have a three year old to run around after last time though. Only 14 weeks until my due date... how exciting. I have been running a little game with my family and friends to guess the sex, weight and date of birth for this babe and here are the guesses so far...

Estimated due date is the 6th July 2010, first due date was 29th June (yes, Charlie's Birthday!!).

# First child, Charlie was born on 29th of June 2006... he was 14 days over due and was born at 4.16am in the morning.

# He weighed 8 lb 1 1/2 oz

# I have had really bad morning sickness this time round, making me bed ridden at times.

Oh and a little clue that I didn't mention to my friends... this time I will be downing the rasberry leaf tea in preperation :) So have a guess, and there may be a little surprise for the closest guess :)

25 Weeks

24 Weeks

You are now 24 weeks pregnant and at the beginning of week 25.

Your baby has grown to be about 30 cm long from head to toe (11.75 inches) and approximately 700 grams in weight (just over 1 lb 8 oz).

Your baby may now be big enough for others to feel your belly and sense them kicking and stretching!

Babies at 24 weeks have been noted to increase their breathing patterns (by expanding their lungs with amniotic fluid), after their mothers eat, especially if the food contains sugar! Your baby's lungs now start to produce a substance called surfactant, which lines their lungs and assists them to breathe after birth. One sentence... I need more fiber in my diet!! Babe is moving around like an acrobat, and made me giggle a little yesterday when I was using the mix-master... every time I turned it on, babe jumped like it was a shock. yesterday was the first day that I tried on a pair of my favourite vintage denim jeans... and I could only do up one button... (they have three). Its about time, I can't wait for a big round belly... only 16 weeks until my due date now, how wonderfully exciting.

23 Weeks

Am starting to feel bloated and swollen. My ankles are puffy and I feel as though my face is swelling to the size of a balloon... ok, well maybe a slight exaggeration. Babe is moving heaps, especially when I jump into bed of a night time, which is always the way. The Prince is constantly asking if today is the day that the baby is coming, he is so eager to meet our little babe!
